Privacy Notice
How SourceLane Global, operated by UCT Consulting and Trading FZCO, handles RFQs, sourcing requirements, uploads and website data.
Purpose and data collected
We process contact details, company information, technical requirements, offer references, uploaded supporting files and communication history to respond to inquiries and facilitate industrial sourcing or deal discussions.
Retention
RFQ and inquiry contact data is normally retained for 24 months after the last meaningful contact. Buyer technical attachments are normally retained for 24 months after RFQ closure. Supplier source files for a published offer are normally retained while the offer is active plus 12 months after withdrawal. Completed transaction, contract and tax evidence is retained for at least 7 years where required for UAE accounting, corporate-tax, audit, contract or legal purposes.
Where mandatory local law requires a stricter rule, that rule overrides the default schedule. Personal data is not kept merely because storage is available.
Recipients and transfers
Data may be shared with service providers, sourcing counterparties or transaction participants only where necessary to respond to the inquiry or progress the requested deal. Access to private uploads is restricted by role.
Your rights
You may request access, correction or deletion of personal data, subject to records that the operator must retain by law or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Security
Private source files are kept outside public web routes where technically possible. Public offer pages contain approved technical data only. Protected viewer assets use sanitized derivatives and controlled access.
